How do I transfer to CHSSU?
You can transfer to CHSSU’s BA or Associate Degree programs from schools with similar programs. The faculty board decides if your transfer is approved.
When can I apply?
For year-based programs: Apply before the academic year starts.
For term-based programs: Apply before a new term begins.
Submit your application at least 10 days before the year or term starts.
Is there a limit on transfer spots?
There’s no fixed limit per department. The International Office decides the number of spots before applications open.
What if I want to transfer to the final year or last two terms?
You need to:
Pass all exams at your current school.
Have at least a 50% overall grade average until the final year or last two terms.
Or, have a 70% or higher pass grade to move to the final year or terms.
What do I need for a horizontal transfer?
Application form (get it from the International Office or CHSSU website).
Copy of your high school diploma.
Your official transcript.
Details of your courses.
One photo.
How is my application reviewed?
The International Office checks your application first.
The School or Faculty Board makes the final decision based on their rules.
If approved, your previous courses may count as “exempted” with grades and codes.
