CYPRUS UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH AND SOCIAL SCIENCES (KSTU) PHYSIOTHERAPY AND REHABILITATION 4TH GRADE STUDENTS ORGANIZED WITH COUNSELOR TEACHERS, SEMINAR THEMED “DIABETES, CHRONIC PAIN AND URINARY INCONTINENCE” LEFKE ÖNCÜ IT WAS HELD AT THE WOMEN’S ASSOCIATION.

Organized by Cyprus Health and Social Sciences University (KSTU) Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation 4th year students accompanied by their advisors. Seminar on “Diabetes, Chronic Pain and Urinary Incontinence” at Lefke Pioneering Women Association It was realized.

(KSTU) Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation 4th year students gave information about “Diabetes, Chronic Pain and Urinary Incontinence” as it is more common in women. They made their presentation at the Lefke Pioneering Women Association.

In the presentation, it was stated that due to the defects in the insulin effect of Diabetes, the organism does not have enough fat, carbohydrate and protein. While we point out that it is a chronic metabolic disease that requires constant medical care, from which we cannot benefit, and that complications may arise, and therefore the importance of Physiotherapy, we also point out that Chronic Pain is an uncomfortable condition that continues for at least 3 months. , risk factors and precautions that can be taken in daily life were mentioned.

It was informed that it is a situation that causes distress and makes the person feel inadequate due to the associated discomfort, and that there are issues that need to be taken into consideration for women suffering from urinary incontinence.
